Knowledge and Attitudes towards Antibiotic Usage

Background: Antibiotic resistance is a global problem, and the World Health Organization (WHO) has made this problem one of its priorities for solving. Repeated improper use antibiotics main reason bacteria's to drugs.
 Objectives: This study aimed evaluate knowledge, attitudes Palestinians regarding antibiotic usage awareness about resistance.
 Methods: was cross-sectional that targeted from different cities. We used an online questionnaire which distributed randomly data collection. The consists 52 questions measure attitudes, resistance. Statistical Package Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25 analyze collected.
 Results: A total 744 participated in completed questionnaire, majority them (60.5 %; n= 450 out 744) were Hebron Governorate. major respondents also females (n= 653, 87.8%) their age between 20-35 years old 498, 66.9%) with bachelor degree 502, 67.5%). (75.5%, 560) think should be given only by prescription, half people (52%= 387) believe are not safe. Most participants relied on physician dispensing (60.1%, 455) but same percentage leftover have been previously.
